STATUTE OF THE COMMITTEE OF PARENTS
approved by the parents
PART ONE: ESTABLISHMENT, COMPOSITION AND OBJECTIVES
"PART ONE", which is designed especially for parents of first class, contains a series of basic information that aim to raise awareness of CG and its function to 'inside the school.
Article 1 - Constitution; LEGISLATIVE REFERENCES; COMPOSITION PARTICIPATION
The Parents' Committee is composed of law by all parents elected as class representatives (art. 15 DL 297/94), are part of it also, with equal rights , all parents are willing to collaborate. The class representative was unable to attend the meetings of the Committee, delegate of another parent's class (ensuring that it is represented), who will attend the meeting with voting rights.
The Parents' Committee, which consists of an efficient link between families and bodies, not for profit, has a democratic structure and is a body independent of all political and religious movement. Act in accordance with the values \u200b\u200benshrined in the Italian Constitution and is based on solidarity and participation, pursues social, civil and cultural. All positions are therefore free association and free the performance of the members.
Inspired by the ideal of a public school that offers its students strong incentives to study and a strong sense of civic duty, which enhances their participation in civic life in the name of the respective values \u200b\u200bof humans and the environment, that nurtures their desire to enrich the human, cultural and professional.
Art.2 - AIMS
The Committee was created to inform, unite and represent parents in relation to educational bodies and to propose initiatives and opinions relating to the same school activities, always with educational purpose.
The activities of the CG are based on the desire of parents to meet and collaborate with the school in order to achieve common goals. It 'an independent body, in full independence, it is an interlocutor for the presidency, of the governing bodies, teachers, parents and students.
The GC has liaison duties and incentives for the participation and the formulation of proposals to the Council of the Institute.
Among the goals that the CG is pursuing the most important are:
1) call the parents to their responsibilities in respect of all the issues raised by the social environment in which they live and school their children, to identify areas of intervention and arrangements for their active presence in the school and the area;
2) promote the widest possible collaboration among school, family and other institutions engaged in education and teaching, mutual respect the role of each component, to promote initiatives to facilitate the relationship between the parents of the Institute, with faculty and students in order to promote their mutual understanding and active cooperation.
3) Organise own conferences, meetings and training and for aggregation and for their parents.
4) To promote initiatives and proposals on important issues such as safety, health, environment, work, etc.. using for this purpose, groups working in collaboration with the headmaster and teachers.
5) Provide support and help to parents in the elected organs of school because they feel supported and encouraged In carrying out their duties. Transfer to the parents members of the Council of the Institute claims and demands of a general nature.
6) Respond promptly to requests for cooperation from the Dean and staff, enabling the participation of parents in the initiatives promoted by the school.
For the 2008/2009 school year the Parents' Committee has elected:

What is the Council of the Institute and who is a member:
consists of 14 members, including 6 representatives of the teaching staff (Prof. Biagini, G. Scarabelli, ...), a staff Administrative (Anne-Marie Toni), technical and auxiliary, 6 pupils' parents (John Carlini, Cristina Vandelli, Ersilia James, Monica Roggiani, Cesare Muccini, Stefano Scaruffi), the head teacher, the council Institute is chaired by John Carlini. He three-year term (next election in November 2010).
The school board shall develop and adopt the guidelines and determine the general forms of self-financing of the school, the budget resolution and the final accounts and determines how to use the funds for administrative and teaching. It is for the Board's rules of procedure of the club or institute, the purchase, renovation and preservation of all the assets necessary for the life of the school, the decision on the participation of the institute in cultural, sporting and recreation, and to the performance of welfare schemes. Subject to the powers of the teaching and class councils, have the power of decision on the organization and planning of life and activity of the school, within the limits of available funding, with regard to the functions and responsibilities of school autonomy that gives the individual schools.
