Much of what we now know about the brain comes from the increasing ability to draw maps, real maps, the cerebral cortex and the structures located deep in the brain. These maps allow us to know where to begin an action, such nuclei are the basis of language, which are networks of memory. A geography of the mind that opens up a new world, different from what we had previously imagined, that does not require the presence of a deus ex machina to act as interpreter and pull the threads of the mental theater.
